RockMax je nezávislá rozhlasová stanice, která se orientuje na melodický rock a classic rock. Přes den vysílá především osvědčené rockové hity, ve večerních hodinách nabízí širokou paletu hudebních speciálů a jiných pořadů. Svým signálem pokrývá Zlín, Uherské Hradiště, Vsetín, Olomouc a okolí těchto měst. Provozovatelem vysílání je společnost AZ Media, a.s., která kdysi na daném trhu provozovala AZ rádio. To se před několika lety proměnilo právě v RockMax.

O RockMaxu jsem měl vždy představu, že je to rádio hrající velmi tvrdou hudbu. Můj poslech mne však přesvědčil o tom, že rádio umí být také něžné (tedy co se týče hudby). Mluvené slovo mírně pokulhává, ale milá slečna zprávařka navrátila šmrnc a půvab.

Podle unikátních přístupů náš web rockmax.cz navštíví denně přes 2 000 lidí, z toho většina sleduje právě streamy nebo on-line poslech. Posluchači oceňují tuto službu zejména proto, že díky streamům mají možnost poslechnout si extrémní formy rocku i metalu, které v běžném vysílacím čase nikde v éteru neuslyší. Stream „oldies” (ve kterém je hudba pouze do roku 1989) ladí spíše starší posluchači zaměření na klasický rock. Fanoušků obou streamů stále přibývá.

AZ Rádio ve Zlíně skončilo, vysílá Rock Max
Známé zlínské rockové AZ Rádio změnilo koncem minulého týdne svou identitu. Na vysílačích 89.6 MHz/Zlín a 95.6 MHz/Vsetín se začalo identifikovat pod názvem Rock Max. Změna názvu a licenčných podmínek se však netýká licence na vysílač 99.0 Mhz v Brně.
