Cinemax 2 je mezinárodní prémiový filmový kanál společnosti HBO Česká republika, která na zdejším trhu zastupuje americký konglomerát Time Warner. Vysílaný obsah se přesně shoduje s prvním programem značky Cinemax, jde pouze o 24 hodinový posun. Pokud tedy na programu Cinemax (1) běží určitý film, na Cinemax 2 se objeví o 24 hodin později. Od května 16 HD programů u Skylinku
Satelitní platforma Skylink rozšíří svou programovou nabídku o devět nových televizních stanic. Kromě již známých programů MTVN HD (hudební), Spektrum HD (dokumentární), National Geographic Wild (přírodovědné dokumenty) v HD rozlišení nabídku rozšíří také hudební programy Classica HD, Deluxe Lounge HD a iConcerts HD. Nízkonákladová satelitní platforma Digi TV se rozhodla vyřadit z nabídky prémiové kanály provozované společností HBO Česká republika. Diváci si tak nebudou moci předplatit programy HBO, HBO 2, HBO Comedy a Cinemax. Neprémiové kanály provozované touto společností zatím v nabídce zůstanou.

Informaci přinesly včera na webu Lidové noviny. Svou televizní videotéku pojmenuje HBO Digital a zpřístupní ji přes internetový prohlížeč, nabídne filmy a seriály vysílané na kanálech HBO, HBO2 a HBO Comedy v posledním čtvrtroce. Podle šéfa české pobočky Ondřeje Zacha je internet perspektivní záležitostí a už nyní se projekt testuje v Maďarsku.
